Overview turns logged periods and cycle phases into averages and a trend chart for the cycle range you pick. Open Reports → Overview and scroll past the range pills to the two summary cards, then the chart and phase rows.
What these statistics show
- All values come from logged cycle and period data on your device for the selected range.
- Average Period and Average Cycle are whole-day averages rounded to the nearest day.
- The trend chart plots cycle length and menstrual (period) length only—no follicular, ovulatory, or luteal lines on Overview.
- Phase breakdown rows show separate per-phase day averages—not the same as the two top summary cards.
- These are personal insights from your logs—not clinical diagnoses.
Open cycle statistics on Overview
01
Reports
Tap Reports in the bottom tab bar.
02
Overview
Stay on Overview—the default sub-tab when Reports opens.
03
Cycle range
Top pills (1 cycle, 3 cycles, 6 cycles, 12 cycles, Custom) scope every stat below. Changing the range refreshes summary cards, the chart, and phase rows. See the cycle range help for pill details.
04
Scroll order
Summary cards sit directly under the pills, then Cycle Analysis, then Cycle and Period Length Trends, then phase breakdown rows.
05
Cycle count label
Below the pills, the left label shows how many cycles are included; the right shows the date span covered.
Average Period and Average Cycle cards
01
Average Period
Mean menstrual-phase length from logged phase dates—not a count of flow-intensity log days.
02
Average Cycle
Mean effective cycle length averaged across cycles in the selected range.
03
N Days
Both cards display whole days rounded to the nearest day—no decimals.
04
Cycle Analysis
Tap the button below the cards to open Cycle Detail for per-cycle drill-down, or change the pills at the top to update both summary cards in place. See the Cycle Detail help for what that screen adds.
Cycle and Period Length Trends chart
01
Cycle and Period Length Trends
Section title below the Cycle Analysis button on Overview.
02
Cycle
One line plots cycle length for each cycle in the range.
03
Menstrual
A second line plots menstrual (period) length. Overview shows these two lines only—no legend toggles and no follicular, ovulatory, or luteal lines.
04
Data point
Tap a point for a tooltip with that cycle's lengths.
05
Empty states
Your cycle insights start here appears when you have never logged cycles. Nothing to show for this range appears when logged cycles fall outside the selected range.
Phase breakdown rows
01
Menstrual
Row with color swatch and N Days average for logged menstrual phases.
02
Follicular
Row with average follicular phase length for cycles in the range.
03
Ovulatory
Row with average ovulatory phase length.
04
Luteal
Row with average luteal phase length.
05
Phase breakdown
Four rows sit below the trend chart with rounded whole-day averages—different from the two summary cards above. Tap any row to open Phase Detail; see the Phase Detail help for phase-specific stats.
- Summary cards—two headline averages (period length and full cycle length).
- Trend chart—how those two lengths change cycle by cycle.
- Phase rows—how long each of the four main phases tends to last.
✦Log periods across at least two full cycles before leaning on trends—one cycle of data can be noisy. Reports summarize what you logged on this device to spot patterns you may discuss with a clinician; they are not for self-diagnosis.
